Color has been used for healing since the 1800’s and was evolved into The spectro-Chrome System in 1920 by the Dinshaw family www.dinshahhealth.org.
A series of slides of special intense colors are used in a hand made projector with an incandescent bulb. The book “Let There Be Light by Darius Dinshah” describes this method.
Amazing healing has been done in the hospitals in the US for severe burns and many glandular and organ problems with this method. More information can be attained at the above website.
I have my own set of these colors which I use. I find the red color really relaxing when I am tense and unable to sleep. I find it necessary to use a timer as I would fall asleep, and need it especially for the higher frequency colors blue, purple, violet, indigo. If I use them for more than 15 minutes I get a headache.
Full Spectrum Lights
In the fall my system wants to hibernate, now known as SAD Syndrome. I feel sleepy, slow, unable to concentrate, my digestion does not work properly. I have two lightboxes which I use even in the summer on dark days. This light makes me relax, wake up and I’m able to function normally. Fall and winter are not so traumatic, my system digest vitamins and supplements better.
There are quite a few different styles and the light is different colours. My preference is the blue light, the yellow makes me feel ill, so it is very important to be able to observe which light suits you.
How Color Affects Your Brain Wave Patterns
Dr. Valerie Hunt is a frontier thinker and gifted speaker whose penetrating ideas reflect her rich background as a scientist/mystic and clinician/philosopher. She holds advanced degrees in psychology and physiological science from Columbia University.
Dr. Hunt is the first to discover vibration patterns during pain disease and illness, and in emotional and spiritual states and has found scientific evidence of individualized field signatures and subtle energetic happenings between people and within groups.
Her discoveries of how color effects our brain waves are just fascinating. Every color is within certain Hertz bands on a spectrogram. She has written several books and DVD’s which resonate to certain color frequencies.
Choose Your Colors Thoughtfully
Your day can be much more pleasant simply by choosing the appropriate colors for that day. Some days I reach into the closet and have no doubt which colors to choose. Other days may require more thought. On those days I hold the item on my heart area, close my eyes and then try the next color. One will make me feel better.
For most of my life I have been mostly deaf in my right ear without knowing it. Every doctor I asked said there was nothing wrong with my hearing. I can not judge the direction of sound and could not tell what the teacher was saying when they were facing the blackboard. Not too many years ago I met a person who only had 50% hearing in both ears. He was the one who insisted I cannot hear properly. He had been trained how to speak at the correct volume for other peoples benefit.
Finally I insisted that my family doctor send me to a hearing specialist, which he did while still protesting I could hear just fine. The specialist also said I could hear just fine to which I firmly insisted I could not hear properly so he reluctantly sent me to the audiologist. After testing my hearing the audiologist replied “I do not know how you can understand what I am saying, you must have had this problem for a long time, you are almost totally deaf in your right ear.”
I tried a hearing aid and was amazed that I could now hear what people are saying when in a crowd, or are facing in another direction. I still cannot hear on the phone with my right ear and cannot stand the sound of the TV with the hearing aid on.
Perhaps you or a friend may have a similar problem. If you think the doctor may be mistaken insist on being sent to a specialist and insist you get to the proper testing.
They built a lovely new luxurious Olympic size pool in the town I used to live in. It was wonderful swimming there most of the time.
People were allowed to bring their own CD’s to play while swimming. Sometimes the sound of Heavy Metal would pound through the water setting my nervous system on edge and the children became very noisy and destructive. I suggested they put on Viennese Waltzes or other uplifting music. Sure enough, when the music was changed the children would calm down.

Tis said Laughter is the Best Medicine
There is nothing like a good belly laugh to dispel nervousness, stress and get your day back on track.
My favourite chuckles and deep belly roars often come from the old musicals, they just make me feel sooooo good! Some of the reaslly old horror movies with Vincent Price, Peter Lorre and Lon Chaney are actually funny.
Humour is so very individualized, what I find horrendously funny many others do not like. A large percentage of the movies that others considered hilarious I don’t like, some I find totally gross me out.
Dr. Patch Adams dresses as a clown and travels around the world with many others also dressed as clowns making others laugh. For 40 years he paid to be a doctor.
There is the movie about his life loosely translated that is starring Robin Williams.
So what tickles your funny bone?
